In January Ross Petty made his final fiendish appearance as Captain Hook before descending beneath the stage of the Elgin Theatre through Mr. Dressup’s Tickle Trunk, never to be seen again. Despite his love of being booed by thousands of theatre goers every night at his annual fractured fairytale, escaping 20 years of heckling was a joyous and momentous occasion for the serial villain.

But fear not, as with all good multi-versatile evil villains, a successor had been groomed, waiting in the darkness off curtain, eagerly awaiting their assent to royalty.

Back in the safety of his dressing room, Hook welcomed his dear friend Hilary Farr, co-star of the long-running television show Love It or List It—she had helped him renovate his pirate ship and made an instant impression on Ross.

Hilary Farr is an internationally renowned designer, co-host of Love It or List It which airs on W Network in Canada and HGTV in the U.S., and president of Hilary Farr Design, a thriving interior design company founded over 15 years ago. She is credited as the first designer to stage properties for sale in Toronto where she was born and currently resides.

But despite her talents to style a beautiful home and charm uncooperative home owners as well as her real estate nemesis on her TV show, Hilary’s career began in the theatre. And, so she returns in this year’s production of SLEEPING BEAUTY, an original musical romp running at the Elgin Theatre from November 25 – December 31, 2016.

And so please welcome, with the most resounding boos, her evilness, the glamourous Ms. Hilary Farr as Ross Petty Productions presents, SLEEPING BEAUTY; The Deliriously Dreamy Family Musical.
