There are few Toronto summer settings more theatrical than Casa Loma after dark. The castle glows, the gardens open up, and for a few hours, the city feels a little more romantic than usual.

This year, that experience reaches a milestone as Casa Loma’s Summer Series returns for its 10th season, running June 8 through September 7, 2026. Presented by Liberty Entertainment Group, the annual concert series brings more than 36 live performances to the castle’s gardens, with weekly programming that moves from symphonic classics to rock anthems and nostalgic tribute nights.

The appeal has always been more than the music alone. Casa Loma gives the series a built-in sense of occasion. Guests arrive early, wander the grounds, take in the city views, and settle into an outdoor setting that feels distinctly removed from the usual concert experience. It is part live performance, part summer ritual, and part excuse to enjoy one of Toronto’s most iconic landmarks in a completely different light.

Mondays are devoted to Symphony in the Gardens, featuring the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra under the artistic direction of Maestro Paolo Busato. This year’s themed evenings range from Sinatra and Friends and Broadway to Opera to Movie Nights, Soul Meets Symphony, Salsa to Samba, and a full 007 Bond Night. With vocalists and special guests joining throughout the season, these nights lean into the elegance of the setting, offering a polished open-air concert experience beneath the castle backdrop.

Tuesdays turn up the volume with Rock Symphony, where Justin Di Donato and Cleopatra Williams join the orchestra and guest artists for symphonic takes on rock and roll favourites. Expect music from artists like Elton John, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, and more, performed with the added sweep of a full live orchestra.

Wednesdays bring the nostalgia factor with Tribute Shows, celebrating artists and eras that continue to fill dance floors and playlists. This season includes nights honouring ABBA, Bob Marley, the Bee Gees, Beatlemania, the Eagles, and more. A special Soul in the City performance also returns for one night only, featuring old school R&B with Sean Jones and special guests.

For Toronto audiences, the Summer Series is an easy sell: music you know, a venue you can show off to visitors, and a setting that makes a weeknight feel like an occasion. It works for date nights, group outings, family visits, or anyone looking to make the most of the city’s warmer months.

The Casa Loma Summer Series runs June 8 to September 7, 2026, rain or shine. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., with performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $55 plus fees, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis and not guaranteed. Limited pre-show VIP dinner packages are also available at $250 per person at BlueBlood Steakhouse, with outdoor garden pods opening for the season on June 8.
