For many Torontonians, one of the best parts of visiting the Canadian National Exhibition isn’t the midway rides or outrageous food creations. It’s grabbing a seat at the Bandshell as the sun goes down and watching some of the biggest names in music take the stage.
This summer, the tradition gets even bigger.
The Canadian National Exhibition has unveiled its complete 2026 Bell SOUNDSTAGE at the Bandshell lineup, celebrating the venue’s 90th anniversary with one of its most diverse concert schedules in recent memory. From August 21 to September 6, fairgoers can catch an impressive mix of Canadian legends, international stars, and rising artists, all included with regular CNE admission.
The lineup kicks off with Grammy Award-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco on August 21 before welcoming Canadian favourite Lights, reggae icon Shaggy, and pop artist Virginia to Vegas over the opening weekend. Throughout the fair, audiences can also catch performances from Glass Tiger, Bif Naked and Bran Van 3000, The Trews, Matthew Good and His Band, Charlotte Day Wilson, Finger Eleven, Silverstein, Tom Cochrane, and British-Punjabi star Raf-Saperra.
International pop fans will also have a chance to see JoJo, while Caribbean music lovers can close out the concert series during Dr. Jay’s Soca Night, featuring Alison Hinds, Edwin Yearwood, Rupee, and DJ Puffy.
Adding even more excitement, the CNE is teasing two surprise performances. An international headliner presented by Billboard Canada will take over the stage on August 28, while Rolling Stone Canada will present a mystery co-headliner alongside Dallas Smith on August 31. Those announcements are expected closer to the fair.
One thing that makes the CNE concert series stand out is its accessibility. Unlike most summer concert festivals, these performances don’t require separate concert tickets. Once you’re through the gates, the music is part of the experience, making it one of Toronto’s best entertainment values.
