Torontonians and visitors alike can thank the CBC for bringing them some of the joys of the World Cup experience.
Beginning today, with the kick off for the world’s largest sporting event, you can enjoy three CBC FIFA World Cup™ Viewing Lounges at Toronto Eaton Centre. Open to the public, football fans of all kinds can come together to cheer on their favourite players and teams.
With 32 countries competing in the Wold Cup, the Eaton Centre and the CBC work to further unite the well-known multicultural spirit of our city. This FIFA event brings people passionate about the sport and often converts the merely curious. The games are full of excitement and passion both on the field and off.
The three lounges at the Eaton Centre are located in Trinity Way, the Urban Eatery, and the level three Queen Street bridge, and will be open every day throughout the tournament during mall hours.
The Trinity Way lounge features free WiFi and phone charging stations. Each Viewing Lounge will also provide soccer themed activities.
