4th Annual Toronto Black Film Festival
February 10, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - February 14, 2016 @ 5:00 pm

The 4th Annual Toronto Black Film Festival (TBFF) will run from February 10 to 14, 2016 and will be presented by Global News in collaboration with TD Bank. With an increased number of screenings and events, including celebrity guests (to be announced in January), 2016’s festival will be the largest TBFF yet.
While showcasing noteworthy and thought-provoking Black films, TBFF also seeks to create a space during Black History Month to debate the cultural, political and socio-economic issues of the day. The festival offers screenings, concerts, panel discussions, exhibits, workshops, conferences and opportunities to meet filmmakers, writers, actors and speakers from across the globe.
Founded by the Fabienne Colas Foundation, TBFF is dedicated to celebrating the very best in cinematic work dealing with the experiences of Black people from a diversity of communities. Our mandate is to provide an opportunity for filmmakers from all ethnic backgrounds to shine the spotlight on authentic stories that reflect the realities of Black people around the world.
