Downtown Toronto’s annual outdoor multi-day boutique summer roots music festival,TURF (Toronto Urban Roots Festival) is excited to announce that Wilco, Of Monsters And Men, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Avett Brothers, Ub40 and Neko Case are among the first wave of artists confirmed for the festival.

TURF returns to the Historic Fort York Common, with THREE OUTDOOR STAGES, and FORTY SIX Artists, over 3 DAYS-NIGHTS on September 18th-20th plus TURF will program some of the same artists in both Lee’s Palace and the Horseshoe Tavern between September 16th and 21st, as part of TURF’s annual Club Bonus Series and the upcoming 30th anniversary of Lee’s.

This year, TURF will focus on “Artists from Toronto” throughout the weekend. Each of the festival’s three outdoor stages will begin daily programming with artists that call the Greater Toronto Area home. The entire ‘Artists from Toronto’ lineup will be unveiled in late May/early June.
