A pastiche of post-rock, chamber-pop and contemporary classical composition, San Fermin is the work of Brooklyn composer and songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leone. Ludwig-Leone composed all of the album’s arrangements and lyrics in full prior to collaborating and recording, noting that “writing for a large group of unknown musicians infused the writing process with a kind of operatic scope.” The band of eight members hits the Garrison on February 15.

In the DJ booth, it’s all about the groove for Prok & Fitch, something easily felt by crowds at their performances at Global Gathering in the UK and Ultra Music Festival in Miami and their first-ever performance at the world-famous SENSATION party. On February 10, Prok & Fitch released their single “Man with Soul” featuring the vocal talents of award winning Max Linen. “Man with Soul” focuses on a high-energy disco groove that relentlessly builds towards a mammoth drop where Max Linen’s infamous vocal takes hold. Now Toronto can see them live at Cinema Nightclub on February 21.
