Get ready, Toronto – The Keep Refillery is coming to town! This low-waste and plastic-free haven is opening its fourth location on March 4th and is ready to help you transform your home and personal care practices into sustainable ones.

Founded by a power couple who left their thriving careers in television production to lead the plastic-free revolution in Ontario, The Keep Refillery has taken over three communities in Ontario (Creemore, Meaford, Kingston) and is now setting its sights on Toronto.

With the recent plastic ban in effect across Canada, The Keep Refillery offers everything Canadians need to transform their homes and personal care practices into sustainable ones. By encouraging customers to bring their own containers, The Keep Refillery offers a wide range of locally sourced, all-natural, organic, biodegradable and cruelty-free products. And if you forget your container, don’t worry! The Keep has a ‘take a jar, leave a jar’ program, so you can leave behind what you don’t need and take what you do.

But The Keep isn’t just focused on individuals – they’re also taking on the hotels industry, helping businesses create sustainable practices. With hotels accounting for 9% of waste that ends up in landfills, The Keep Refillery is leading the charge to make a difference. They recently partnered with Langdon Hall, Country House & Spa to create the first Ontario hotel with an in-house refillery.

As co-founder Jacquie Rushlow said, “Almost anything can be refilled nowadays, and it’s by taking small actions, person to person, community to community, that we can make effective change.” So go ahead, Toronto – take that small action and join the low-waste revolution with The Keep Refillery.
