This is the seventh year Lifford Wine & Spirits hosted the annual Boys’ Night Out event in support of prostate cancer research. Working with an array of sponsors including SHARP magazine, Audi Downtown Toronto and Tundra restaurant, guests were treated to a wide array of wine tastings and delicious food samples. It’s not every night you can support a good cause by sampling wines.

It was a celebration that allowed men to be boys. Fast cars brought in by Audi allowed you to not only look cool but see and feel the new features. Displays by Toronto’s Gotstyle showcased the newest trends in men’s clothing, so you could judge if you were in style that night. The Lifford wine samples were well matched with local restaurant tastings and artisan specialties like smoked duck breast. To add to the class and style, the event featured a cigar and scotch patio, a must-have for any boy’s night.

For those who felt lucky that night, poker tournaments, live auctions and raffles allowed the gambler in all of us to come out and have some fun. All proceeds going to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and Prostate Cancer Canada.

And no boy’s night out would be complete if we didn’t invite the ladies. The event had its share of female wine and scotch connoisseurs supporting the cause, many of them regulars from past years’ events.
