With June being Italian Heritage Month, Toronto is opening its doors to Italian culture during the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, who will be hosting a “Spotlight on Italy” during this year’s festivities. From June 24 – 26, 2019 six Italian jazz artists are set to perform during the festival including O-Janà and Rosa Brunello, Gabriele Boggio Ferraris Quartet, Giacomo Tantillo 4tet, Hobby Horse and ITACA.

“The Italian community in Toronto and the GTA is still very significant, and we are working with some great partners to really cherish that community and anyone who is interested,” says Alessandra Ruggera, Director of the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Toronto.

The TD Toronto Jazz Festival will have over 175 free concerts in Bloor-Yorkville, as well ticketed performances all across the city. Admission for the Spotlight on Italy artists is free. For more information, visit www.torontojazz.com/spotlight-italy
