Manchester post-punk pioneers The Chameleons are set to electrify Toronto’s Opera House on Monday, April 28, 2025, as part of their “Darker Skies Tour.” This performance marks a significant moment for fans, as the band prepares to release Arctic Moon, their first full-length album in over two decades.
The Chameleons have recently unveiled two EPs: Where Are You?, featuring new material, and Tomorrow Remember Yesterday, a collection of reimagined early tracks from their pre-1981 era. Vocalist and bassist Mark Burgess reflects on these songs, stating they were “amongst the very earliest songs we got together pre-Peel session in 1981, but were discarded at the time due to them feeling unfinished”
Joining them on stage are darkwave duo Twin Tribes and synth-driven act Vandal Moon, promising a night rich in atmospheric soundscapes and introspective lyrics. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show commencing at 8:00 PM. This is a 19+ event.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and other major ticket outlets. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness The Chameleons’ enduring legacy live.
