For the first time, Monster Energy Center of Gravity (MECOG) will make its way to Ontario.

Canada’s largest beach festival migrates to Wasaga Beach this summer, from its Kelowna home base, for the weekend of August 19 to 21, 2016.  MECOG will bring an exciting mix of high energy electronic, urban and live music acts across multiple stages in the quaint beach town of Wasaga, Ontario. Presented by Wet Ape Productions and Live Nation, Center of Gravity combines the world’s top musical acts with over 400 athletes competing in six adrenaline pumping sports including beach volleyball, beach dodgeball, wakeboarding, freestyle motocross, skateboarding and BMX.

“Wasaga Beach is a perfect fit for MECOG,” says festival founder, Scott Emslie. “The festival is meant to be an escape from the city to a beach town, for a weekend packed with high energy sports, day cabanas, lakeside house music, sunset headliner performances, and shared memories with like minded people.”

Now in its ninth consecutive year in Kelowna, BC – MECOG is ready to bring its combination of action sports, professional beach volleyball, world class musical talents, and beach culture to Wasaga Beach.

Artist announcements to follow, with some of the biggest names in EDM, hip-hop and live music.
