All-female garage outfit The Coathangers are coming to The Horseshoe Tavern April 13 with tickets available through the Horseshoe website.

Their live shows are exciting and full of radiating infectious energy, they’ve been together for over a decade and have toured/played with The Black Lips, Refused, the Thermals, etc. They’re out supporting their new album The Devil You Know. One of their most purposeful and unapologetic projects to date, first one written as a true unit that melds their respective takes on playful house party anthems, heart worn ballads, and vitriolic punk (music to check below).

Just released a lo-fi stylized video for “Step Back” off the new album which the ladies describe as a “reflection of the pain and helplessness that comes with loving someone who is lost in the fog of addiction. We have all been touched by the effects of drug and alcohol issues, which often leave us feeling bewildered. Lurking in the shadows all around us, addiction is the monster that has taken too many people we love away from us. This song is a plea to get them back.”
