After years of wishing, hoping and praying, Designer Shoe Warehouse finally came north of the border to shower us with a dazzling array of footwear, purses and accessories in abundance.

DSW Canada offers the same great choices with a plethora of variety in their two Canadian stores located in Mississauga and Newmarket. Unlike other American retail stores that have opened in Canada but left us disappointed, shopping at our DSW locations feels and looks exactly like the US experience. The space is huge (it really is akin to a warehouse space), the choices are fashion forward and includes fabulous brands of footwear and varied accessories available for our eager consumption. So you see, you get all of the best at a great value, every day, in store and online.
The only drawback for city dwellers is that both DSW Canada locations are out of the way, with one located at Mississauga’s Heartland Mall and the other on Yonge Street in Newmarket, so, if you’re the type of person who likes the experience and actually being able to try on a pair of shoes, then trekking out to either location could be an issue. On the other hand, you do have the option of shopping online. There are also many people I suppose, who don’t mind travelling outside the city limits for a good bargain and if you are that person, then absolutely make sure you make a trip to either of Greater Toronto’s DSW locations.
