Returning to the Direct Energy Centre from February 6-9th, 2014, this weekend join scores of other outdoor enthusiasts as they descend upon Canada’s biggest and best Outdoors Show—the Annual Toronto Sportmen’s Show.
In its 67th year, you’ll find hundreds of exhibitors and enough activities to keep you entertained for the entire day. Whether you are new to the show, a seasoned vet, single, or part of a large family, the Toronto Sportmen’s Show will have something to inspire and entertain you.
This year’s show will feature exhibitors from the hunting, fishing, boating, outdoor adventure and travel companies. With activities like paddling demos, chainsaw carving, dog shows and birds of prey, you’ll want to spend the entire weekend there.
Show Highlights:
Targeting the Huntress
This all-female panel of hunters share their experiences and showcase the growing popularity of hunting among women.
Check it out on Saturday, February 8 at 2p.m. on the Hunting Hall Stage.
Bobbi Switzer Chainsaw Carver presented by Husqvarna
Renowned chainsaw artist Bobbi Switzer will wow audiences by using electric chainsaws to carve and create unique pieces of art.
The Marvelous Mutts – A Canine Spectacular
For the first time, rescue dog sport entertainers The Marvelous Mutts will delight audiences with their feats of bravery and fancy tricks.
Birds of Prey
Enjoy an extensive display of live birds of prey. You’ll see some of North America’s most magnificent and endangered birds in this hugely popular exhibit.
Fish TV Zone
For kids and adults alike, stop over at the Fish TV Zone where Leo Stakos and Ron James will be on hand to meet their fans. Kids can catch their first fish in the trout ponds and anglers can learn new tips and tricks.
The Beasley Brothers from Canada in the Rough
The Beasley Brothers are true Canadian boys who love to be in the woods. These three brothers appearing on the Hunting Hall Stage on Friday, February 7 at 1p.m. and Saturday, February 8 at 11a.m.
Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Legend, Bobby Baun
Four-time Stanley Cup Champion and Toronto Maple Leafs hockey legend, Bobby Baun will be in attendance at this year’s show. Bobby is fondly remembered by Leaf fans for his performance in game six of the 1963–64 NHL Stanley Cup finals. After breaking his leg early in the game, he returned in overtime and scored the game-winning goal. Stop by his booth where Bobby’s can meet interact with him and get a signed autograph each day of the show from 2p.m. to 4p.m.
