NXNE Takes Over the Port Lands

North By Northeast (NXNE) and Budweiser are excited to announce more programming for the Port Lands.

Added to the roster, on Friday, June 17, Los Angeles rapper ScHoolboy Q, local hip-hop artist Tasha the Amazon and Ivory Coast reggae singer Tiken Jah Fakoly, and Saturday, June 18 with Montreal indie rock trio Land of Talk, rock quartet Born Ruffians and Toronto alt-pop band HIGHS, plus a cool activation from Texas Tourism and more from NXNE Club Land.

Previously announced acts as part of NXNE Port Lands on Friday, June 17, sponsored by Manifesto, include Ghostface Killah, Shamir, Daniel Caesar, and Mick Jenkins. Saturday, June 18 will feature Father John Misty, Mother Mother, Dan Mangan, The Zolas and The Devin Cuddy Band with special guests.

In addition to two stages with all-day performances, NXNE Port Lands will include art installations, a convoy of food trucks and the Tune Into Texas lounge by Texas Tourism, which will offer a place to relax with BBQ, drink samples, and an interactive contest with a chance to win a trip to Texas.

NXNE Club Land will host a Halifax Pop Explosion showcase with Vogue Dots, Walrus, Mardeen, Partner, and Glory Glory on Thursday, June 16 at Sneaky Dee’s, and an M for Montreal showcase on Saturday, June 18 at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern with performances by Kandle & The Krooks, Michael Rault, Alex Calder, and Homeshake. NXNE Club Land has also confirmed Kiki Rowe, Towers, Billy Moon, The OBGM’s, and Jon Bryant.
