Braving the Canadian December cold, Bare Mutants will be at The Drake Hotel on the 4th with their latest album “The Affliction”. Jered Gummere, most recently form Pony’s, is no stranger to the band circuit having been a part of five bands before forming Bare Mutants. He’s added on some real Chicago indie vets alongside him such as Seth Bohn from Mannequin Men on bass and Jeanine O’Toole from The 1900s on backups and tambourine, along with multi-talented friends Matt Holland on drums and Leslie Deckard on organ. Bare Mutants have come together as a tense-yet tranquil sound encompassing hazy guitars and dueling female/male melodies that bring you back to the alternative music scene in Chicago during the early 2000’s.

LA luminaries Oliver and Classixx are coming to Hoxton on December 20th, showcasing some of their best nu-disco and west coast sounds. Oliver, the producer / DJ duo of U-Tern and Oligee are responsible for some of the funkiest, toughest, and most diverse dance music. With the release of their Fool’s Gold EP Mechanical, Oliver pushed their hybrid sound to even funkier new horizons. L.A. natives and childhood best friends Classixx have headlined everywhere from the famed Paris Social Club to New York’s Webster Hall, touring constantly since the release of their exuberant 2009 single “I’ll Get You”.
