Chicago producer YehMe2 is playing Velvet Underground on October 13

He spent 11 years as part of iconic dance duo Flosstradamus before starting his solo project. His influence as Floss has been an integral part of the rise of electronic music. His “YehMe2” moniker sees him keeping the same energy and personality that fans know and love, but now with limitless creative control to make and do whatever he wants.

The project started with him challenging himself to make a new beat every day for the month of May 2016, culminating in a full mixtape titled Steal This Mixtape which had 32 new originals, remixes and mashups. He continued the “beat-a-day” challenge and the mixtape series in 2017 with the release of the Steal This Mixtape 2. Josh’s sheer amount of creative output as a solo artist has equaled or surpassed what many take half a decade to do, reaching a total of 59 tracks under the YehMe2 name in 1 year.
