Disco house maestro Vanilla Ace is kicking off his North American summer tour, and will be playing at Tokia in Toronto on Friday June 19th.
Vanilla Ace is the alter-ego of London-born Sam Young, a celebrity DJ who has performed for everyone from Will and Kate and George Clooney’s marriage nuptials. Vanilla Ace’s sound stems from a creative collision of house, disco, bass and New Jack Swing that refused to be defined. Vanilla Ace has earned a steady string of accolades of the past few years, nominated by Soundplate as “Best New Artist” in 2012 and being labeled as one of Beatport’s Top 10 Nu Disco / Indie Dance acts in 2014.
