Sultans of String CD release party and show

Sultans of String are serving up a smorsgasbord of ragas, reels ‘n’ rumbas on their new CD, Subcontinental Drift, with sitar virtuoso Anwar Khurshid (Oscar winning Life of Pi, Love Guru) at Trinity St. Paul’s Centre, Oct 30th. The album officially drops Sept 25th (CAN: Fontana North / US: CEN (SONY/Red).
Known for spotlighting treasured special guests from around the world, including The Chieftains’ Paddy Moloney on their last CD, Sultans of String are particularly excited about this east-meets-west offering which honours the migrant journey. In light of the current international conversation, Subcontinental Drift is a shimmering and much needed musical beacon of hope.
