It’s finally spring and we’re feeling lively at POP Montreal. There are lots of amazing things happening over the next few months and they will culminate with the ULTIMATE seasonal celebration: the festival returning for its 14th edition. As always, we will bring you the coolest party on earth, whether in churches, community halls, old school houses or dozens of venues across Montreal. So get ready to express your inner GENIUS.

Join us as Giorgio Moroder turns the St-Jean-Baptiste church into a psych disco palace; British industrial metal legends, Godflesh, play their first ever Montreal show; 80’s punks Babes in Toylandreunite after 15 years; the one and only R&B legend Barbara Lynnwill perform in Montreal for the first time with Lil Buck Sinegal as part of a Ponderosa Stomp Revue; indie rock stalwarts Built to Spill return supporting their 8th full length release, Untethered Moon; and dancehall queen Macka Diamond brings mega next level late night dance floor arousal with rappers Lady andJunglepussy.

What else?…the return of Cannibal Ox and a performance by local pop sweetheart Coeur de Pirate, who will debut at the festival her new album, set for release this fall. Constellation Record’sOught will likewise return with a new album; Arcade Fire heart throb Will Butler will play his first show in Montreal after his two recent sold out performances this spring; and the otherwordly Stars of the Lid will give us a North Americanexclusive double performance at our favorite venue, The Ukrainian Federation!
