After 20 years of producing and performing in Ontario’s favourite family holiday musicals, Ross Petty will hang up his Spanx and take his final boo as Captain Hook in a brand new production of PETER PAN, The 20th Anniversary Family Musical PANto-monium!

Joining Ross for his “glorious goodbye” (Dame Edna and Dave Letterman have nothing on Petty), are Panto stalwarts Eddie Glen who has appeared in 12 of the 20 productions; and Dan Chameroy who starred in the first production at the Elgin Theatre in 1996 as the titular Robin Hood.  Dan has gone on to create the much loved, and love-hungry, Plumbum who will once again grace the stage in PETER PAN.

Director Tracey Flye has been helming the Panto since 2009, and award-winning playwright Chris Earle (Peter Pan 2007, Cinderella 2008) returns to pen a high-flying new version of the boy who wouldn’t grow up and his evil nemesis Hook, for Ross Petty Productions’ 20th Anniversary presentation of PETER PAN.

While Petty will continue to produce the annual family holiday musical, this year will be his final stage appearance as a notorious evil-doer and last opportunity for the exquisitely twisted form of love he revels in as ‘the man who must be booed.’
