We Are Scientists are about to bring the party to North America! After lighting up stages across the UK and Europe with their electrifying performances, the Brooklyn-based dance rock band is finally heading stateside. The North American tour kicks off at Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern on November 6.

The band’s eighth album, Lobes, is a sister album to 2021’s Huffy. Born out of the Covid lockdowns, Lobes is a testament to the band’s resilience and creativity. With an extended stay at their recording studio in Midtown Manhattan, the band got exploratory with their production techniques, resulting in a sound that’s more electronic, dancier, and ambitious.

The band members’ temporary relocations post-lockdown also influenced the album’s vibe. Vocalist/guitarist Keith Murray spent a year vibing on Miami Beach’s tropical scene, while bassist Chris Cain spent a few months in Utah. The result? An album that feels like a late-night drive through a seaside metropolis.

“I’ve gotten so excited for the tour, I’ve been decorating my bedroom as various cities on this upcoming run and pretending to play full shows,” says Keith. We can’t wait to see what kind of energy they bring to the actual stage!

The tour will feature selections from Huffy and Lobes, which the band sees as their Daytime and Nighttime records respectively. So get ready for some spectacular shows that’ll have you dancing all night long!

Tickets are now available at here. Don’t miss out on this electrifying tour!
