Danny Brown is about to drop the best album of his career- just when you’d think he couldn’t outdo himself, uknowhatimsayin¿ (out 10/4 on WARP) does. He plays Baby’s All Right in New York on July 16 and I can guarantee it will be one of the most energy-driven / raucous / hilarious shows (he usually does a comedy bit at the end, think Richard Pryor as his album art alludes to) – there’s really no one else like him in hip-hop (or frankly, on this planet). It’s been almost 10 years since XXX (re-launched) him to fame and everything he’s put out since then (OLD, Atrocity Exhbition) has been met with both critical and peer fanfare. He also recently launched his show Danny’s House on VICELAND, with guests including A$AP Rocky, Hannibal Buress, Ilana Glazer, Zack Fox etc.He announced his album with “Dirty Laundry” a few weeks ago and today shared the new Q-Tip produced single “Best Life”
