This quaint, brightly lit spot offers a variety of services for men and women and they only practice what they specialize in–a really good, almost pain free, quick, wax job.
Opening their doors earlier this year, Fuzz was the first wax bar of it’s kind in Toronto. Owners Jessica Frampton and Florence Gaven found a way to merge high-end wax services with excellent pricing. Gone are the days of visiting your local “tear and scream, um,-you-missed-a spot,” low budget wax alternatives.
Fuzz Wax Bar’s professionally trained waxologists are tops in their field and aim to make each visit as quick and pleasant as possible. Even a male patron getting waxed for the first time, visited and walked out feeling like “a new man.”
What are you waiting for? Don’t walk around like a hairy beast, get waxed.
Fun Stuff:
Wax services range from brow and arm to Brazilian bikini and the Manzilian. As well, clients can always pop in for a trim or, if they’re feeling fancy, some gem or glitter accoutrements.
Understanding that clients should wax regularly to obtain the full benefits, Fuzz Wax Bar offers a monthly membership program that is unique to the beauty bar industry. Clients select the membership package best suited to their waxing needs to enjoy discounts, perks and other goodies, including a complimentary wax (up to $35) during their birthday month. But that’s not all. Membership fees directly translate to waxing discounts: the Fuzz Fan ($15/month) receives 50% off all waxing services; the Fuzz Faithful ($35/month) includes one free bikini wax per month; and the Fuzz Fanatic ($55/month, ladies only) covers waxing of three different body parts per month. Walk-ins are welcome, but bookings are recommended.
