360 Screenings, an immersive film series combining cocktail party, live interactive theatre and traditional film viewing premieres their first ever Halloween edition on October 24th at 7pm. Tickets to this one night only production are 90% sold out. 360 Screenings is Canada’s only cinematic experience that fuses film and theatre into one.
The evening begins with a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres, while actors play out familiar scenes and lines from a beloved film of the past and interact with the audience. Costumes, set-design, props and make-up all reflect the environment of the film. The location of the venue is kept secret until 24 hours prior to the screening, and the film itself isn’t revealed until it screens. From the moment the audience arrives at the venue they become fully immersed in the story of the film.
For the Halloween edition, complimentary make-up sessions will be offered to transform guests to fit the mood of the film.
Based on a popular screening series in the UK, Ned Loach and Robert Gontier have brought the idea to Canada with two previous screenings including Fight Club and Ghost, both which played to sold-out audiences and received rave reviews.
